The prototype is designed to be applied to the already existing weather communication service of Google weather. The concept is developed based on the idea behind Google Street view but transferred to weather context. Aiming to provide a human perspective to the schematic weather forecast, Pegman is used as a tool to enable the user to get that desired insight. By offering a Pegman button to Google weather, the user is given the opportunity to drag the figure onto the chart, just like in the experience in Google Maps. Besides getting the experience insight, the prototype shall also offer more information such as evaluations and suggestions how to improve comfort. In the presented example, a scenario is illustrated in which the user plans to go outside for a walk in the evening, at 19:30, in rather cool and windy weather conditions.
