Illustration for Wine

The client was asking for an illustration for their label. The artwork was created digitally in Adobe Photoshop.

“Uncle Fritz and Aunt Frieda will be the eye-catcher on our front label. We want them to be two distinct figures with their own unique characters. Uncle Fritz is an old bachelor, full of life and fond of wine. Aunt Frieda is the love of his youth, but somehow, they never got together. Both are fond of music and dancing, and this is how we want them to be depicted. We want a dancing couple in their best years that is full of character, easy to like, a bit queer but definitely an eye-catcher. Their clothes may have some elements of traditional Austrian clothing, but should not be too much of "Dirndl and Lederhosen".”
